Spring is coming and it’s time to think about making the garden look nice. If you have a lot of trees that have grown a bit unruly over the winter, the Communities in Bloom Committee and the Town of Whitecourt are offering a spring pruning workshop. At the workshop, participants will learn the ins and outs of pruning at a presentation followed by an outdoor, hands-on demonstration.
The workshop will take place on Saturday, March 28 from 1 to 5 p.m. at the Forest Interpretive Centre. There is a small registration fee of $20 and participants will be able to take home a free pruning set.
To register and for more information, please contact the Allan & Jean Millar Centre at 780-778-3637.
