Central school held its April Assembly on Thursday morning and it was electrifying! After all, it was Rock Star Day and everyone got into the spirit with head-banging hairdos, cool outfits, and even some shades. The assembly gave staff an opportunity to have fun while recognizing students who go above and beyond. First, the kids of 4sc performed poems including The Bogeyman by Jack Prelutsky which was one of their top scoring pieces from the Rotary Music Festival. Following that, the Eagles of the Month were awarded, then students from each grade were commended for being pretty amazing. One of those students was RJ Corriveau who was recognized for being a role model to fellow students and for making those around him happy whether they are in the classroom or on the playground. Congratulations to all this month’s awardees. Rock on!
