West Coast Amusements Carnival took over downtown Whitecourt on Tuesday and Wednesday, transforming it into a treat for the senses. With delicious smells, colourful bright lights, sounds from the midway games, and the rush from the rides whether you were dropped out of the sky on the Super Shot or you screamed in the Haunted House, it was a blast! This year Whitecourt saw fantastic weather as the rain held off until closing time both nights giving carnival goers the full experience without pause. The Downtown Spring Shop Hop also held events within close proximity including the outdoor farmers’ market, sidewalk sales, and a bit of live music as well.
