A group of Whitecourt air cadets, joined by family, cooked and served a delicious afternoon meal for the Whitecourt Double 22’s Dart League at the Whitecourt Legion on Saturday. Thanks to generous community sponsorship from Mike & Rebecca’s No Frills, the Double 22’s, and Tastebuds Catering, the cadets raised money for their program, which more than 30 area youth attend free of charge. Funds raised will go towards the upkeep of the squadron hall, including covering sky-high power bills, helping them keep the power and heat on all winter.
