Homeschool families from the area travelled to Edmonton on Wednesday for a fun field trip to Fort Edmonton Park. Around a dozen families took part, combining for nearly 30 youth. After a forecast fit more for fall than summer, the sunny sunshine and twenty-degree temps were a pleasant turnaround, giving families a beautiful day to enjoy the many activities and learning experiences at the park. The Whitecourt homeschooling community is a growing group that takes part in various activities throughout the year.
