A four-year project to replace aging curb and gutter infrastructure along portions of 55 Avenue kickstarted last week with Phase 1 between Torgerson Drive and 39 Street. The massive project will see lots of concrete along the busy street replaced, with the old infrastructure completely being removed. Next year, the project’s focus will be the sidewalk from 39 Street to 41 Street before focusing on the northside sidewalk of 55 Avenue for years three and four.
