Calling all music lovers

By Rechell McDonald
The saying is true, everyone loves ABBA. You may be sitting there saying to yourself, “No, I hate ABBA,” but, the reality is you know more of their music than you’d care to admit and you’ve probably danced to a song or two, as well. Naysayers aside, ABBA has a massive North American following and a slew of hit songs that were renewed for a whole new generation by the musical Mamma Mia! It was also renewed by the film of the same name. For all those who aren’t afraid to admit they adore ABBA, you’re in luck. The ABBA tribute band, Arrival, is coming to the Eagle River Casino November 21 and 22. ABBA disbanded two decades ago and have been offered millions of dollars to reunite but they are adamant that the band is done. This may be your only chance to see them… well, almost.
That same weekend the band Dreams will also be featured at the casino – and if you haven’t guessed it, Dreams is a Fleetwood Mac tribute that goes above and beyond simply recreating the sound. Dreams provides a remarkable Fleetwood Mac experience from their costumes to their mannerisms. Although Fleetwood Mac is still touring today, this promises to be a great immersive experience and a great way to spend a weekend in November.
