Shaun Majumder, of This Hour has 22 Minutes fame, made an appearance at Eagle River Casino last Friday, delighting his local fans with a stand-up comedy routine. His opening act was Lars Callieou, a Canadian comedian who has a special on the Comedy Network. Keeping up with the casino’s tradition of supporting local non-profit organizations, a collection from the event’s reserved tables was donated to the Boys & Girls Club of Whitecourt & District.
