The Whitecourt Women’s League Bonspiel was held over the weekend with 13 teams from Whitecourt, Peers and Edson taking part. Over 50 curlers took to the ice from all skill levels, both beginner to advanced. The event was the “Redneck Rendezvous” with all sorts of theme costumes during their dinner function Saturday evening. Sandra Harris, bonspiel coordinator and treasurer, would like to invite anyone interested in curling to give her a call at 706-1717.
