Eastlink celebrates service enhancements in Whitecourt by acquiring naming rights for the new winter recreation park
Whitecourt’s new winter recreation park is taking on the name of Eastlink Park as part of the company’s sponsorship in support of the Whitecourt Woodlands Winter Recreation Park Society – a contribution valued at over $600,000.
“Eastlink is very proud to support this park, a place where local kids and families will gather for outdoor recreation and fun,” said Sales and Marketing Manager, Julie Benoit, who went on to say, “As a company rooted in community, we are dedicated to investing in the communities where we operate. We appreciate the opportunity to partner with the Town of Whitecourt on a project that is clearly important to local families.
To celebrate this partnership, Eastlink is also offering a special promotion that will see the company donate an additional $150 to the Park for every new ‘bundle’ customer within the community.
“The Whitecourt Woodlands Winter Recreation Park Society would like to thank Eastlink for its major sponsorship of the park,” remarked Rodney Koscielny, Society President. “Without Eastlink as the major sponsor, our Society would not be able to accomplish our goals in making the park a first-class facility. We are very excited to have them on board as a major partner in providing recreation in our communities.”
“The Whitecourt Woodlands Winter Recreation Park Society is to be applauded for the phenomenal job they have done making Eastlink Park a reality for our community,” said Whitecourt Mayor Maryann Chichak. “The hard-working volunteers have built strong partnerships with local businesses, and bringing Eastlink on board is a big accomplishment. I’m thrilled that Eastlink has chosen to support our community by contributing to this endeavour.”
