The Whitecourt Healthcare Centre has received a new Phototherapy Light and Bili Blanket, which are used for treating newborns with jaundice. These items were purchased by Friends of Whitecourt Society, with a donation of $15,517.00 received from Pembina Pipeline Corporation. A welcome addition to the equipment at our Healthcare Centre.
“ Phototherapy from the lights will be accurate and effective for our newborns requiring this care,” Heather Johnson, Acute Care Manager at the Whitecourt Healthcare Centre.
