Parent Link invites all parents of little ones to its year-end barbecue in Rotary Park on June 24. The barbecue will run from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and will feature a bunch of great activities, a bouncy castle, prizes, and a free barbecue lunch for everyone.
If you aren’t familiar with Parent Link and have a child up to six years of age, this is a great opportunity to get out and discover it. Parent Link runs out of the Allan & Jean Millar Centre, and offers a wide variety of programming aimed at child development. From integrated parent-child programs, to programs that encourage socialization and language development, there is something for everyone. Parent Link also offers referrals and developmental screenings. If you need help determining what services are available for you and your family in town, Parent Link should be your first stop.
Programming is offered throughout the week, and even if you aren’t interested in participating in the programming, it’s a great spot to collect relevant information about services and your child’s health and wellness.
Make plans to stop by the barbecue to see what it’s all about, or to meet up with friends and family for an afternoon of fun in the sun.
