Rave: The good price for beautiful roses for Valentine’s Day at Walmart.
Rant: As of this writing, gas is 93.9 cents a litre while oil has been hovering between $51 and $53/bbl. You may be wondering why the cost of gas is so high. If you understand that the oil companies own the refineries as well as the gas stations, you will know the answer. They set and control the prices. Since the price, based on historical data, should be about 70 cents a litre, the answer can only be greed.
Rave: Daisy from Ralcomm. Thank you. You gave my husband wonderful service, and you are always so pleasant. Thank you for spending so much time trying to get my phone weather up and running again. I now have the problem fixed and if I get a chance to thank you in person next week, I will be sure to do so. Thank you for the great service.
Rant: To the person that backed into my car today at the mall, you could have gotten out to check on any damage. My husband tried to get the plate numbers but he is disabled and couldn’t get out of the car fast enough. We were parked in the handicap spot. You would have thought they would check on the person in the car. There wasn’t that much damage but a little respect would have been nice
Rant: Getting woken up every morning this week around 5:30 by the two Poms that run up and down the alley between 45 and 46 St. barking and chasing vehicles. Not sure who owns them, but could you please keep them in your yard so the remainder of the street can sleep?
Rave: To the woman at the Hilltop Vet Clinic this afternoon who made light-hearted, small talk with me about my ferret. What she didn’t know is I wouldn’t be walking out of the clinic with him. Thank you for allowing me to reminisce about him, and being a kind soul when I was in desperate need of a companion even if you were unaware of the situation.
Rave: To the Hilltop Vet Clinic staff who made putting my ferret down an easier process. They were compassionate and allowed me the time to say my goodbyes without being pushy. They were gentle and considerate and, for that, I thank them as well.
