Twice is Nice celebrates its one-year anniversary

Twice is Nice was started a year ago to raise funds for the Whitecourt Wellspring Family Resource and Crisis Centre. Shauna Bruneau, store manager, stated that the store has been going well since opening. Bruneau says it’s been good for the community, the staff, and the volunteers. It’s been a roller coaster ride but a good ride she says. Becky Wells, the Executive Director for Wellspring, says this store has been something that Wellspring had anticipated and talked about for many years. Wells says it’s been great to watch it grow into what they’ve envisioned from the start. She further adds that although there is another second-hand store, there’s enough community donations to support them both. Both Wells and Bruneau would like to give a huge thank you from the bottom of their hearts to their volunteers. Wellspring has been working on some great things for the future. Wells would like the public to stay tuned for its official announcement.
