Woodlands County is sending a letter of support to the RCMP, in appreciation of the services they provide to the County and its residents. The letter is copied to Premier Kenney, Minister of Justice and Solicitor General Kaycee Madu, RCMP K-Division, local MLAs, and PricewaterhouseCoopers Canada, the consulting firm hired by the Province to examine the feasibility of a provincial police force.
After receiving five proposals, consulting services for West Mountain Road base repairs and resurfacing project was awarded to McElhanney for the value of $108,811. The repairs are planned for a 1.8 km section of the road between Township Road 591 and Township Road 592. McElhanney provides consulting services including identifying required repairs, solutions, tender preparation, and project management.
The next regularly scheduled Council meeting is Tuesday, April 20, 2021, 9:30 am. The meeting is held virtually and streamed on the Woodlands County YouTube channel. Agenda packages are available on the Woodlands County CivicWeb Portal.
