A mildly chilly evening with crispy fog lingering low resulted in a beautiful sight early last week. Light pillars, which are created when light reflects on tiny ice crystals suspended in the air, were visible around midnight and added a beautiful glow to the sky thanks to the low cloud cover. Vibrant blues, oranges, and sharp whites shot up into the sky like light sabres, making for a pretty shot.
