Cadets held a poppy sale blitz on the weekend, leading up to Remembrance Day on Saturday, November 11. Groups of several youths spread out, attending various businesses to sell poppies, including the Westward Christmas Market, where a friendly trio of cadets staffed a booth. This year’s Remembrance Day ceremonies will be held at the Allan & Jean Millar Centre. Public attendees are asked to be seated by 10:20 a.m. Following the ceremony, the Whitecourt Legion will open for lunch and fellowship for all to attend. |
