On October 24, Gord Fontaine and owner of Western Auto Revolution Auto Group, Troy Plamondon, hosted a BBQ fundraiser for the Whitecourt Cancer Fighter Society. The BBQ was held in the Western Auto and Imports parking lot from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The food for the event was purchased from Violet Mae’s Bakery and the M&M Food Market. All proceeds will go directly to the society and helps with matters like transportation and hotel costs for those in need. Owner Troy Plamondon has supported other organizations in the past and plans to support more in the future.
