Early Learning barbecue

Whitecourt Early Learning held a fundraising barbecue sponsored by SafetyBoss on Saturday on the steps of the Carlan Centre building. Funds raised go directly to supporting the Early Learning program and the children they care for. It has been a few years since they last held a fundraiser and they are very happy with the turnout and support from the community! For those who would like to donate and help the program, director of the daycare, Crystal McGeough, says children’s toys, books, and puzzles would be greatly appreciated. They also gratefully accept bottles with funds going towards programming. There are currently a few openings in the three to five age category group and anyone interested in signing up his or her child, or donating can either call Crystal at 780-706-3295 or visit the Carlan Centre.
