Saturday’s mini tournament marked the end of the spring camp for football players in Westlock. With the season beginning the end of August, the players appreciated having two weeks in to see what football is all about. Westlock took game 1 with a 3–2 win, but lost the next three games: 6–1 to St. Paul, 4–2 to Vegreville, and 5–1 to Sherwood Park. Regardless of winning or losing, everyone had a wonderful time. The local team, while inexperienced, was very enthusiastic.
Jack Schlosser was the starting quarterback, and Brody Pelley played the quarterback position. The Most Valuable Player of the tournament was awarded to Chase Hummell.
