Emergency crews were called last Wednesday afternoon after a pedestrian using a walker was hit by a pickup truck. Several witnesses watched in disbelief as the driver lost control, and did a 360 spin before hitting the man and throwing him 50 feet. Fire crews stabilized the man on the scene before he was taken to hospital by ambulance. The extent of his injuries or circumstances surrounding the accident were unknown at press time.
